Another new arrival,
Got me this from a gentleman in a roundtable/trade on at another forum...
I kinda expected to receive the sheath from him, as that is what he does... and boy does he do it good!
But I did not expect it to contain this knife!

Now I know what folks mean when they compare older case build quality to newer ones... this knife is Soooo smooth in walk, and has great snap. I hate to say it but it is smoother than my recent Case knives.
Serrated(!) spey blade, bolster marked 003, clip blade etched "Michigan Moose". Bone is a deep purplish/brown. I think its called cabernet bone on a newer run(?)
No secret thst the moose is my favorite pattern, making this all the more special.
First numbered knife I have ever had, and I am quite curious! its imaculate too, if its ever been sharpened or used, I can't tell it.
Its tang stamp puts it as 1981... Any info on the numbering and the name? 003 of how many? The Case site, and allaboutpocketknives.com were no help on this one.
Edit to add; sheathmakers site; http://rgleather.freehomepage.com/
