These have caught my eye recently as they are one hand opening with a pocket clip and gorgeous traditional styling. But I can't seem to find any info on what steel is used, even just if its carbon or stainless! Does anybody have any info on these? How about experience with one? Are they are nice as they look?

Here's some info, right from the horse's mouth, as it were.

Looks like at least one version of this knife is available in Case's CV ("chrome vanadium") , a version of 1095 carbon steel. The same knife with different handle materials/colors will probably use Case's "Tru-Sharp" stainless, which is basically 420HC. Case only uses those two steel types, as far as I know. (Unless you get into the semi-customs and such.)

Edited to add: And here's one for sale, fwiw. No, I'm not connected to that site.

I have a few of them. They're beautifully made and really great looking.
Terrific lockup.

I personally would not use one as my EDC, though - the Tru Sharp steel just isn't the quality of steel I like to carry.

But! - In CV steel? Didn't know about that. Will have to look into it.
In CV steel it sounds like a winner all the way around! :)
