Why does case not have a multi-tool? I love case knives and I bet if they done a multi-tool it would rock.

Because from their inception to present they've been a company focused on traditional knives. While multitools have been around for a while now, few of them could be considered traditional--this guy for example. :D

huh not traditional but a damn cool multi tool for its era...how many today incorporate a hammer haha

ISTR Case made an oddball Blackie Collins knife/screwdriver multitool.

Their main market is "traditional" collectors. As far as multitools go, they're probably a bit reluctant to venture very far beyond something like the scout pattern, fishing knife, or the occasional scissor layer. Especially in such a competitive market dominated by some very heavy players.

Case's scout utility has not been discontinued very long. They also made a scout utility with an added pair of pliers a few years ago like we see on some Wengers. There is also the Jr. Scout.

I got the Case Scout with the pliers and it is a nice little knife that hangs above my desk for chores. I did not know if this knife was made any more or not.

To pity they dont do that bigger Scout anymore. I have the jr an while its good its a little small in the tools. Bouth the caplifter and the camopener is a thad small for good funktion.
