Well, I got back two days ago, and boy was it amazing! First, it is not a long ride, depending on where you are. Me, it was around a 3 hour drive. Not to bad. On the way, there are a vast amount of antique stores. The one I stopped in was called Salamanca antique mall. I'll tell you, the place is huge! It has a wide variety of everything, from huge saw mill blades to furniture. It had a great amount of knives and militaria there. I picked up a nice Camillus Military multi knife for 5 dollars (unissued) and a great old generic USA knife for 10 dollars. Some of the militaria was fake, so I informed the owner about it. There is a gentleman there who has a big collection for sale. He had German military surplus and much more. SO, I suggest you stop in if you have time. On the way, you pass a lot of farm land and older buildings. Very cool area. So, when you finally get there, it seems pretty small. It is surrounded by the Zippo lamp posts. On the way in, the first thing you see is the store. It was a great room, filled with their, both Zippo and Case's product line, including some discontinued products. They have a sale section, which is whre I did a lot of my shopping. The sale section had a great amount of products marked down any where between ten to thirty dollars. Everywhere else, they had display cases filled with the different knives, based on the handle material. The museum, itself, was amazing. I won't spoil it for you, but it had a great amount of eye candy. When I left, I noticed there was a brochure for the Kabar museum. It was only a short time away. It is closed on the weekends, during the Winter time mind you. So, I highly suggest you take a trip up there if you want a good time. Here are some of the things I bought.
