I just bought 2 Case Muskrats, one for me, and one for the father in law. I bought them on a whim, I was really hoping to get a couple stockmen, but I liked the handle pattern better on the Muskrats. Does anyone EDC these, they are longer than a stockman, and I'm not sure about the usefullness of the two long blades.

I"m a big fan of muskrats, and often EDC a Queen Classic with squared bolsters and Turkish clip blades.

The usefulness of the 2 blades is in using one as your "regular", and using the other only rarely - keeping it extra sharp for special occasions.

:thumbup:Great pattern(Muskrat) IMHO:D been edc'n a Schrade Old Timer 77OT for near on 23yrs and haven't found a thing it couldn't do and do WELL;).

WOW! I was just getting ready to post about my new Muskrat arriving today. Just got a chance to look it over. It is a SHC exclusive smooth natural bone. I really like it. It is a beauty. I am sure I will carry this one often. I still lean to the Copperhead's, but I think this would be a close second. I will post pictures soon when I get around to taking some.

The Muskrat is a lovely knife.

I have a Queen in D2 with cocobolo.
I found the two clips redundant..
So, I got the same but with a clip and spey.
I like it much more having two different shape blades

Part of what I like about the Muskrat is the single spring.
It is so thin in the pocket

I have an A.G. Russell Hawbaker Muskrat that I carry on occasion. I really enjoy it. Slim enough that it isn't very noticeable in the pocket, but enough blade to handle most of what I need it to do.
