Round 46 of the Case Pass Around, originated by JohnDf, has arrived! The box is ready to move onto it's next destination, it just needs a lucky winner to receive it.
Here are the rules:
I will draw a winner and send the box to them.
They will choose two, three or however many knives.
They will replace the knives with some of their own. Case knives only.
They will hold their own drawing and pass the box on to the next person.
Porch members Only!
Must have over 50 posts in the Traditional Knife Forum.
Must be a paying member of Bladeforums.
These rules must follow the box every time or John will call foul.
The box as I received it
What I grabbed:
I don't have examples of any of these models so I'm happy to be adding them to the collection.
What I added:
The box was sorely lacking in sodbusters so I added a junior to the mix. The handle is a little buggered but still fully functional. There also weren't any full size slim line trappers so I thought a SS cayenne variant would do. I debated between that and a medium toothpick, but I like trappers more so that won out. Finally, I thought the pair of watermelons would go well together and maybe make a good gift for someone's daughter. I really would have liked to include a large stockman, as that is my preferred daily carry, but then I realized I only have 3 large Case Stockmen, the one I carry everyday and 2 with sentimental value that I'll never part with.
If you would like to add your name to the drawing to be the next recipient, please let me know in this thread. I'm going to be chasing deer around the desert for the next week but I will aim to hold the drawing on Friday, November 22.
