I was fortunate to be selected by
JoeGoblyn
to receive the Case Pass-Around Box. This has been so much fun checking out the different patterns, and making incredibly difficult choices.
Here's what I received:
After carrying a bunch, and cutting a few things, I decided to keep these three: The swayback, the two-blade trapper, and the stockman with the barn shield.
I am putting in the box these three: The full-sized sodbuster to keep the yellow JR company and the small swell center jack that was ready for a new home. The third one is actually my favorite Case in my collection. It is a Cheetah with jigged buffalo horn covers. I've always been intrigued by cheetahs, as they are at once an elegant, useful and absurd design. Also, I just love horn on a knife.
I hope it sees good times with its next owner.
So, I've now got the knives all packed up and ready for its next stop.
Now it may be your turn!
Here are the rules:
I will draw a winner and send the box to them.
They will choose two, three, or however many knives.
They will replace the knives with some of their own (Case Knives Only).
They will hold their own drawing and pass the box on to the next person.
Porch Members Only!
Must have over 50 posts in the Traditional Knife Forum.
This rule must follow the box every time or John will call foul.
I will also keep it to CONUS only to save a bundle on shipping and massive paperwork.
By default, I am keeping in the running those that were in the last drawing. If you'd like to be added to the list, simply say "I'm in!" Likewise, if you are on the list and you do not want to be there, just let me know.
I will draw early next week.
One last thing: if you are not a Gold Member, and can therefore not be messaged, please find a way to keep tabs on this. The "Mr. Knife's Never-Ending GAW" has been a bit of a mess recently with winners not responding, etc.
