Hey, it's time for the maybe the 36th edition of the Case Pass-Around!
I recently received the box from
CVamberbonehead
and I am hoping to send it to the next person! The last one was called Round 25, but looking at previous threads seems to indicate that there have been more rounds than that. I suspect the Roman numerals may have gummed up the works a bit. So....
Here are the rules:
I will draw a winner and send the box to them.
They will choose two, three, or however many knives.
They will replace the knives with some of their own (Case Knives Only).
They will hold their own drawing and pass the box on to the next person.
Porch Members Only!
Must have over 50 posts in the Traditional Knife Forum.
Must be a paying member of Bladeforums.
These rules must follow the box every time or John will call foul.
I will run this until Sunday night. At that point, I'll do a raffle, if necessary.
And here's who's in:
RickHuf
So, here's what I got sent to me:

So, seeing all this great stuff, I figured I'd do a 4+-way swap, sort of jostling both this and my own collection. I elected to keep the following:
I had been eying the Tony Bose memorial one for the last 10 rounds or so, and I had never met a tribal lock. It's a pretty nice pattern - fits my hand a little better than a trapper.
The amber bone trapper is just beautiful.
Confession: despite my affinity to Cases, I had never seen the yellow delrin in person. And thus, never thought it looked that appealing. In person, it is actually great! A lot more character (and visibility) than its black brethren - which I long considered superior. My wife the art historian described the yellow delrin as classic mid-century. And then I couldn't decide between the trapper and the sodbuster.

I am replacing them with:
A slimline trapper
Candy apple mini-trapper
My favorite stockman. it was a retailer-exclusive that sits right between the standard medium stockman and the large stockman. Little toothpick - to keep plaque build-up at bay. And the abalone peanut with bail/chain.

So, if you're into it, post a notice of your in-ness.
The last two rounds have each had a single interested party. So this is your chance to do another fun pass-around/GAW.
I believe I recall that at some point it was said that it the pass-around ever lost steam, it would get sent back to

. So maybe this is his round!
