Now that the holidays have come to a close, it’s time for the next round of this Bladeforum tradition! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and I’m wishing for prosperity for all of us this new year!
Now on to business, I recieved the box and I have to say, it never ceases to amaze me how Case can offer such variety, even on the same model from different runs. My friend and I chose a few, added some nice different ones, and now it’s on to the next guy!
The rules are as stated in previous threads. I will draw a winner at random from the pool of interested parties (PLEASE POST IN THIS THREAD THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED!) and then send them the box. They choose some knives, then add some knives (Case knives only please!) and then the winner will make their own post, choose a new winner, and keep this party going!
Also, I am continuing the rules as previously laid out, here they are:
- Porch members Only!
- Must have over 50 posts in the Traditional Knife Forum.
- Must be a paying member of Bladeforums
We took the following:
The canoe- I have never really been warm to this pattern, but the bone on this one is excellent!
The Russlock- because it’s my favorite pattern
The small copperhead- it survived its trip since I first added it to the box, so my friend wanted to give it a try
The farmer jack- he wanted to try a longer single blade
And the mini toothpick and jack knife- he wanted to try out these little workhorses!
We added:
A LNIB pocket worn peanut
A tough little stainless executive
A Chestnut Stockman
A Caribbean One arm Jack
A LNIB Red Bone/Brass Trapper
All of these have fantastic Fit and Finish and I think they represent the best of Case designs!
This is the box as it will come- I will also add one more little surprise for the next recipient! (It’s not pictured below)
