Sometime ago I asked for input about the Case Peanut and the Pen; somewhat suggested that I buy one each; carry and see what I thought. I did just that; carried each one (usually have an Endura or Griptillian clipped to pocket. For me the Pen is the one (in my pocket now); nothing wrong with Peanut just like the Pen; found myself reaching for it, many times in preference to the lockbacks. So that is my experience. Thanks

Both, the peanut and the pen are really quite capable knives. Glad your experience with traditional has been positive. Eyeing any more traditional knives down the road?

Aha! After years of Peanut propaganda...:D:D I thought I was the only living survivor of the Pen Group. I much prefer the Pen, longer handle, and single-spring. Just wish CASE would bother to offer some other handle options for this grand old pattern. e.g. Chestnut Bone, Amber Bone, Micarta, Grand Canyon etc etc

Another fan of the Pen here as well. I'm like you I'd love a Chestnut Bone, CV model!

I recently picked up this pen. Red coral scales. Great little knife!
