Case Pinched Bolsters

Anybody know about these? They look good, but are there any advantages?

They have offered pinched bolsters on a few different knives. I don't think there are any advantages, but they do give the knives a different look

They look good on some patterns, have a Small Texas Jack with them.

I like that Congress they show, four different blades, yes!

Pinched bolsters are purely cosmetic, for a more refined look. Same goes for grooved/fluted bolsters. Just shows a little more craftsmanship and attention to detail, often seen on custom knives.
