Case pocket sheaths

Thought this might be of use to people who carry around a lot of junk in their pockets - like me. These sheaths are made by Case & Sons. Everywhere I looked online said that they were made of velvet, but the ones I received are suede. Velvet might have been better than suede as far as ease of pocketing and un-pocketing, but the suede is nice, and they are well built. I bought the large size. The interior dimensions are 5"x1.5".
Here is a pic that will give some idea of what knives might fit these sheaths.
Left to right - S&M Large Barlow and Queen Mountain Man don't fit. Country Cousin and CS Large Stockman fit perfectly. I don't have any canoes or sunfish/elephant toenails, but I would guess these sheaths are way too small for those patterns. The sheaths are very inexpensive. There is no provision for belt attachment. Hopefully someone will find this short review useful. Thanks.

edit - The model name/number for these is "Case Knife Pouch 9068"

those are great, i must admit that i am secretly crazy about sheaths, almost as crazy about them as i am the knives themselves. i'm gonna have to bite the bullet on day and actaully try to make some. those would be awesome from my sunday knives, as my keys end up in my pocket on sunday instead of on a belt hook.

thanks for sharing,

sam

What exactly are those called? I can't find them anywhere. Only sheaths I can see are the leather job ones with a snap.

Thank you for the post. These are exactly what I have been looking for.

It is very helpful to know they are available.

It may be against the rules for you to post where to find them.

I will send you a PM.

I edited the OP to include model name/number. Hope this helps. They are widely available.

Thanks I found them on 2 or 3 sites with that. Bought 1 from the bay since everywhere else wanted $8 or more for shipping.

Our posts crossed. I saw your edit with suede model number. Found it immediately.

Thanks

These are made in three different sizes, and you can order them on line. I use them when I want a good looking knife to stay that way! I also use one in my back pocket, because it grips my pocket and stays upright.

I like them.
