Hello and happy spring everyone! I dont know if this is the right forum for this question, but here it is. in the past i had an old 70's red bone Case stockman that needed a backspring replacement. i sent it in to Case, and after about a month it came back looking like new, all fixed, and only return shipping charges! Does anyone know if I send them an old Case XX barlow, with 2 snapped off blades, if they will repair, even at whatever cost, put 2 new blades in and send it back to me. i wouldnt care even if they were 2021 marked blades, as long as they are carbon steel. Thanks.

Have you tried contacting Case? They would be the only place to get a definitive answer as to what their current capabilities and services are.

Go to their website, click on support then click on warranty and repair. You can fill out the form and upload a picture of your knife. They will contact you about the repair.

Here is my reply from case for a chestnut bone 1979 barlow with snapped blades:
Our repair technicians evaluated your knife and determined the repair required for your knife would not be covered under warranty. From the photos submitted they advised that your knife pattern has been discontinued and is no longer available and we do not have any parts available to repair it. Had parts been available, we would have been happy to service your knife for a small repair fee.
