Postman delivered this today .I 'd really been looking forward to this as I'd seen a review here .
I'm a little disappointed with the walk and talk .The main blade has smooth opening with very little spring resistance and no snap on opening or closing .
The other two blades are very difficult to open and have no snap on opening or closing .The joint areas seem clean and I've tried a little oil but it's made very little difference .
Otherwise the finish seems nice ,certainly on a par with my Tidioute 66 Moose but
the blade action is poor .I should say I'm biased towards a strong pull and good snaps so when it comes to using a Buck stockman for exapmle I find their blade action smooth but soft .This new Case has recesses in the bone scales to enable
an easier opening ,these are too small for my fingers and will probably need filing and sanding to make a bigger access .
Any observations on the blade action ?

I'd look at cleaning out the joints really well, then oiling again. They sometimes leave a little dried oil in there.

You may also want to follow up with Falcon's "Dust Off" to blow out any dirt, excess dried up grease, and debris that seems to come with many new knives.

I don't have any compressed air at the moment but I'll try it when I get some .I've concluded that in view of the apparent cleanliness of the knife the problem is attributable to a combination of weak springs and very tight joints .This is the only Case knife I've used that has 3 springs, shame it doesn't have such a nice walk and talk(but "softish") as my other 3 spring knives the Buck stockmans.

I've got the same knife and don't have the same issues you are reporting. You could send it in to Case for repair if you'd like.

I've got the same knife, and do have the same issues with it. Primary is easy opening but no real talk and two secondary blades are very difficult to open. But I still like it. fully sunk joints, and the blades go into the handle.
