Hi y'all,

I normally don't give Case knives a second look, but the new Russlock has caught my eye and I was wondering where I could get one with pearl handles like on the cover of the April issue of Knives Illustrated.

Thanks,
John

Well so far I haven't seen any of them for sale, but I must agree with you it is a really unique design and I am looking forward to adding one to my collection!

I knew Case would eventually try out the one-hander, and (perhaps) liner-locking type of knife...I just didn't know how they would do it and yet stay traditional looking. It looks like they did.

Case made a one hander thumbstud / Liner lock about ten years ago. I just sold one. It was advertised on BF forsale about a week or so ago

The ads I have seen plus the article in K.I. says to check Case's web site for info on who will sell them. They will come in a few handle materials Rosewood,Stag and PocketWorn. The lock although a liner is more like the lock on an electricians knife. The thing reminds me of a friction folder cause of the extended metal on the end of the blade where the thumb ramp would be.
