ANYONE..... This is NEW with papers-in the original BOX with sheath. 99.9%
Called CASEUSA and they advised the 10-DOT is a 1975. WORTH keeping or selling.....? I don't collect these!

It's "WORTH" both keeping and selling, depends on what you're after. If it's in as nice of shape as you say, it should fetch a few dollars. Go to Bernard Levine's section of the forum and ask him.

Peace.

Sorry, but a 10 dot is from 1970. Each year during the 70's a dot was removed, so a 1975 would have 5 dots. If you like it, keep it...if not it'll make some collector very happy...Jim

What does the rest of the tang stamp look like.
If there are 10 dots below the U.S.A. - 1970

10 dots above the U.S.A. (with lightening S's in Case, USA and sometimes SS separating the dots - 1980.

Then as Jim said the dots are removed for each year.

In the vast majority of cases :) 1970 and before Case knives in great condition can bring a hefty premium opposed to the same pattern in later years.

Thank all of YOU. I made a mistake. Its a FIVE dot. Below Stainless USA
Appreciate the great history facts. I listed it tonight...
