I would like to get a single blade Case knife in CV steel. I would like it to be anywhere from 3 5/8 to 4 1/8 inches closed. I will take any suggestions because I am very open to ideas. Thanks!

Do they make the Yellow Sodbuster (full sized) in Carbon? That would be my suggestion. Either that, or find a Texas Toothpick.

Edit:
Oops, post intersection. Guess they don't make the full-sized Sodbuster in Carbon.

There's also the yeller CV Hawkbill (4") and Trapperlock (4 1/8") and Backpocket (a bit larger than you're wanting, but worth consideration - 4 5/8"). If it were me however, I'd go with the yeller CV slimline trapper (they also make a CV version in dark red bone).

Try the slimline trapper out it's an amazing pattern that gets overlooked by a lot of us traditional knife nuts they ride very well in the pocket.

I am a multi knife person. My first question is. What will you use it for?

I cary a Case Trapperlock when I'm not at my regular job. I cary a Slim line trapper to work most days, because I eat apples nearly every day and use the Slim line to cutt them up. I don't think you can do wrong with any of them. I would try and pick something personal, something that says "that's MY knife"!:D

Slight clarification- Sodbusters Junior come in CV. Large Sodbusters are only SS.

Slighter Clarification - Large Sodbusters were made in CV. both yellow and black. Case does not offer them in their current production though. I see them for sale fairly frequently, even on the BladeForum Exchange.
