Would anyone happen to have a pic of a Case small pen next to a Buck Lancer/ Deuce? Am curious if there is any real size difference. Thank you
Rick

I gifted a Case small pen to a friend last year. It was bigger than my Buck 305 Lancer. IIRC it was a little bigger even than my Buck 309 Companion.

Here you go, something anyway for late in the night and a photo already on file. Buck 309 (L) and 305 (R) with ruler in front. 300Bucks

309 looks right at 3 inches, 305 near 2 3/4. My offical collector length is 309 - 2 15/16 and 305 - 2 5/8. You will have to find your own Peanut.

Very pretty, 300. Out of curiosity, how old are those. I note that the 301 is a Camillus, so it would be prior to 85. Are the others of similar vintage ?

The 301 would best be called a Cami. special order, without going into records, I believe it is a SMKWs special order. Not actually stocked by Buck. I.E. Note the rivets holding on the scales. The 309 and 305 are mid-80s. But were the first 300 stag scale run and were actually made by Buck in their factory. They just don't have the BUCK shield of the era....The late 80s era had lots of different scale materials available. But such is not a common event in these times......Like you I will state with confidence that the Peanut is bigger than the 305 Lancer and if it beats the 309 in length it won't be by much......I have a Old Timer Peanut around here somewhere.........300
