So a buddy gave me an old sodbuster jr and it is laser sharp like lightsaber sharp but the tip seems kinda blunt…i worked On that and got it better but it’s still sorta blunt. Is this a situation where i oeave It be because it’s an edc working knife or should i push It and keep trying to get the tip sharp? It’s the very tip too very small portion. Thank you for the help!

That will be up to you :)
Typically the steel on a the Case knives is soft and thin enough that you can get them as sharp as you want them without much effort.

One thing to check, make sure the tip isn't actually hitting the back spring when you close it. Look for a cut in the spring itself. Sometimes Case grinds the kicks too much and it doesn't stop the blade's edge from hitting the back spring when you snap it closed.

I have a couple like that, and what I did was convex the tip to be more robust and less likely to flatten and kept the rest do the edge flat and sharp.

At the end of the day, on a work knife, it probably won't matter :)

Depends on how bad it is. I have fixed a rounded tip before by dropping the clip down from the top. That can save a lot of cutting edge compared to working from the edge up. A sharp tip is not always a necessity but can be useful at times, so I think I would try to get it back if possible. You will likely lose a little overall length in the end

The Sodbuster isn't a knife designed to have a sharp, pointy tip. You'd have to reprofile the blade shape from what is is designed as to get that.
