I have a boker sodbuster in high carbon and I absolutely love it.I wanted to try a case. Are the case sobuster and the boker sodbuster similar? which has better craftsmanship?

I think the Case CV is better made, but that's just me. You can pick them up a bunch of places for under $25, so it's not a huge expense if you don't like it. I usually buy two at a time because I sometimes give them away and I like to take them out on boats because it's not the end of the world if they go overboard.

Böker is a bit rough&ready but in no way poorly finished, a bit more 'rustic' in execution.I use my Sod a lot around the garden and on some rather disgusting beater tasks I'd best no get into....

CASE Sods are rather better turned out in final finish, but it is/was intended as a work knife and can take some rough use.

I hear Queen Cutlery makes a decent Sod too but I don't own one. Schatt&Morgan do a very tasty looking one in Stag which you can find from time to time, bit costly though and almost too good to use.... almost.

Yes that Schatt in stag from 07 is on my must have list. They are going between 50 to 80 on ebay when they show up.

I have a few of each, and case hands down in my opinion :) But the boker is a lot less expensive, and still a very usable knife.
