Hi All,

I'm new here & fairly new to collecting knives. I recently came upon a reallynice Case Stag handled, Damascus Fixed blade knife real cheap. It measures 6 1/4 overall made in 1998 or 1989 It's an awesome knife near mint condition on orig. box & Bear & Sons sheath. I can't seem to find any info on it worth. If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it!!!

Thanks & God Bless!~

Almost forgot to mention this-
First off, Welcome to the Forums! Hope ya stick around & enjoy the place.

I probably can't offer you any info about current values, but I am curious about some things you mentioned.

You said it's a Case knife, but it has a Bear & Sons sheath? Somethin' ain't right here. What blade style or pattern/model is it? Generally the bigger they are, the more they're worth. How much is "cheap"? What does the tang stamp say? Do you have any pictures of the knife, or find something similar online we could look at?

Possum,

Yes, it's a case knife in a Bear sheath. I live near the Bear shop in Alabama & I think this was a pattern knife. The knife is 6 1/2" overall. Tang stamp saws:
Case XX
Bradford, PA
19 USA 90
595-2 3/4 D

As far as pics I don't have any at this time I'll try to get some. It has a clip point blade & looks like a small skinning knife. I got it & a Case boot knife & a Microteck vector A, old Hen & Roster stag Muskrat, a girlscout knife (60's) & a Carl Schleper Congress for $250.
