CASE Stainless Knife Set

What year did the CASE XX 221 CP Stainless Knife Set come out? It came with six knives,
Chef's, paring, utility, boning, carving and bread knives. Also, included a wooden storage box that would fit in a utensil drawer. Also, what type of wood was the notched handles made of?

No idea. My very first "good" kitchen knives were made by Case. They were carbon steel and bought one by one. Still have most of them after many years and they sharpen up just fine. The ones I seldom use still look brand new. We're talking from the 70's (that's 50 years).
