Any one here have any idea how many patterns Case has made with the "Stamina Wood" scales? I'm buying another pattern (I have two already) and I'd like to see if there are others. For some reason not much is coming up for me in my searches.

I know only of one : a two bladed slipjoint Trapper (clip and yatagan (sodbuster)). It's a very nice knife, blades are CV (a steel beloved by oldies fans like me). I held back because I'm usually fine with one blade. Don't need the extra weight in the pocket. And the stamina "wood" didn't get me stoked : it's a kind of plywood from the informations I gathered on the net. Gimme some real wood and I woul have been sold (like american recycled chestnut, who could resist...).

6265 Folding Hunter (1964 and later)
6250 Sunfish pattern (1964 and later; includes the 'Elephant Toe' w/etched blade)

You'll sometimes see them described as 'pakkawood', but it's the same stuff (laminated & stabilized wood). I'm pretty sure there are others, but those two are what come to mind at the moment (I have versions of each). Pattern numbers starting in '6' will be jigged.

(Edit: leafing through a collecting guide to find some more):
6217 4" 'Curved Jack' pattern (1970s; similar to the Swayback Jack in handle shape, with large sheepsfoot and a pen blade)
P172 'Buffalo' large clasp pattern; late '60s - early '70s, and my guide describes these as 'pakkawood' (think they were smooth; not jigged)
61051L 3-3/4" lockback (1970s - '80s)
C61050-SAB 5-3/8" Swell Center Hunter (coke bottle pattern; 1964 and later)
61011 4" Pruning Knife (1964 and later)

Thanks for the info guys. I have a #6217, and the #6265SAB two-blade Hunter, and I'll soon have the #6250 elephant Toenail. Maybe I'll work on getting all of these.

I'll post up pics of the three when the third one comes in.
