Hello again, I have a Case Standard Coke knife with goldstone handles. The bolsters are rounded. The goldstone has large flakes rather than the more compacted goldstone "glitter" used in recent years. I believe it is from the 1970-1979 era. I cannot find a listing or a value for it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Matt

Would need a pic and a tang stamp description but sounds like a post-factory rehandle job

Thanks, I will get one out as soon as I can. I am curious; what makes you think that the the scales were added outside the factory?

The only recent gold stone that comes to mind are from 1989 (Parker era) where some were contract made in Germany.

I remember a bowtie, doctor pattern, a couple of gentlemen patterns with scissors (large and small version), and a lady leg. There may have been other patterns, but I am pretty sure there was not a coke bottle.

It is probably more like a large Coke pattern. The knife is between 4 and 5 inches long. I do not have it on hand right now. if I remember right, Case is inside a circle on the tang and the shield is oval. The goldstone flake is rather large and spread out versus the glitter appearance on recent knives.
