While I was out that way in Port Allegany for work, I decided to take an extended lunch and visit the Case store in Bradford PA, not too far from Port Allegany. A very nice place it is too, they are owned by Zippo now I guess, but still there was a lot of sharp steel to be seen and purchased. I was checkin' over a lovely Bose/Case Tribal Spear in Ebony they had, just two of that model was left, one sold that morning she said, the ebony and a really fancy shell type one were left. Right now they had it marked down a little bit too, but, if I were to get one, I'd most likely be heading towards one with stag myself, always a sucker for good stag ;) BUT it was nice to be able to handle the folder in person, and it's a charmer, much like Mr Bose himself, and they ground the blade so it's fairly thin edged too, should slice quite well I would think.

Here's a pic of the store front, it's quite an imposing building! I didn't go taking any photos inside, sorry about that, should have but didn't...

I haven't been there for quite some time, but it sure was worth the trip from the other end of the state!

At the time I gave more attention to the Zippo side of the museum, though I did enjoy looking at the Case displays. My wallet was quite a bit lighter when I left too.

My wife was bored to tears...:D
