Thank you to everyone who's posted pictures of your Sway Back Jacks, especially the chestnut CV ones.

As many have mentioned, the chestnut bone is invariably much richer in person than in the standard Case picture.

I love the heft of this knife, its feel in-hand, its lines, the sturdiness of its blades, and: the chestnut.

I wasn't able to find a chestnut one locally, and would not have taken a chance on its in-person color based on the stock photos alone.

So again, thanks to all who take the time to post their own photos, of this knife and of so many others. You never know who might see one, even a few years later, and benefit.

Edited to add: feel free to post 'em again. :-)

Ah, that looks great. The Case chestnu CV sway back jack is the best value I ever got in a pocket knife. I know you will really enjoy it.

The SBJ is still my favorite traditional. Here's a few picture of how mine has changed over time and use:

This one is when it was only a couple months old:

Fourth one down in the line up. Still looking pretty new but it does have a reprofiled main blade:

Starting to show some patina mainly due to cutting food:

And this is what it looks like now. Been sharpened/touched-up many times and used for just about everything. No blade wobble and still a perfect snap. Both blades will clean hair off my arm with no effort.
