Does anyone have both of these knives and could offer a comparison of the differences in width and weight, please?

Mine measure about 7/16" and 5/16". I'd rate them as "fairly slim" and "slim". :) Both seem quite light. The jack has a center brass liner, which adds just a tiny bit to the width and weight.

Agree, the Gent gets my vote and better still Barehead. The Jack is a decent knife but a small frame like this works out better for me as a single-blade.

^^^ I know that knife!

I have several of the Case versions Gent and Jack. I also have 4-5 customs in the same style. I prefer the Jack, as I find two blades work better for me and single blade knives.

I have a PW red bone Gent that has become my favorite carry of the two patterns. At times the extra thickness of the jack is a benefit depending on the job at hand. I usually carry a single bade or single spring knife, however.

My only one is this Kane Cutlery limited edition model two-blade. I haven't carried it much, it usually stays in its display case.

It does have some lovely antique green bone, and I've never thought I wanted it any slimmer when I did carry it.

Used to have a CV SBJ. Fantastic fit and finish, but ended up giving it away to someone who fancied it. I won a white bone gent here on the forums a long time ago, and it was the same knife, less one layer, with some engravings on the bolster and blade. Both are great knives, but I agree the pattern doesn't need a secondary blade. The workmanship surpassed most other Case knives I've had, maybe on account it was a Tony Bose collaboration?

Well, I ended up with a jigged red bone Case Collector's Club 2-blade jack. Love it so far.
How do I post a picture?

FWIW, I do generally prefer two blades on a knife because I usually end up using one of the blades for tasks that you really shouldn't use a knife for in the first place. Things such as removing a tiny Phillips screw when I'm in a hurry and too lazy to go back out into the shop to get the screwdriver.
