Case tang stamp without lightning “s”

Hey everyone! Just picked up this chestnut Case Canoe, and according to date tang stamp charts, I believe this looks closest to a 1995 stamp except the “s” in the Case logo does not have the lightning font.

Did Case have slight variations in tang stamps like this or am I way off in the date? Or perhaps is this a knock-off?

I believe the lightning ‘s’ indicates stainless whereas those without are CV.

Yes! Thanks, your comment gave me enough info to do more research and it looks like this is the agreed upon convention for the “s” style.

One minor thing:
I believe the 6 dots make the knife a 1994, not 1995.
