Hey guys and gals,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been buying case knives for quite few years now, but never have run into one of these, and was just looking for some input.

I have recently acquired a 1997 Case Copperlock in Teal Bone. It is a limited production knife to 380 pieces according to the certificate of authenticity.
Came with box, wrapper and certifications.
This is a quality test first run knife , not a standard production knife, so it has handle material that won't be used again for that pattern as well as a unique tang stamp and shield. in beautiful, not used condition.

any one know if this is fairly rare and collectable?

no pics yet, as its still en-route to me.

any and all info would be appreciated!

I do not know the collector value on that one, but I believe that it is highly sought after being a test run knife especially with the documentation that you have. Nice find!!

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the rarity of the piece, I acquired it on a whim, but later realized that its probably more rare than I expected it to be. History feels great having it in the hand. Just looking for more info on it and if its truly as rare as I think(hope) it is lol.

I do not know anything about the collector value of the knife but it is a very pretty knife!

Case is a good knife brand.

Thank you for sharing.
