Hello yall got this knife at local yard sale i think i got the date right
can someone tell me what type ? is it a cigar jack ? and what kind of handle bone or?
it has 3 blades 3.75" closed i know you need picz hopefully i do it right

3 blades could be a whittler, cattle knife, or stockman.
What is the number on the tang stamp?
Since you have 3 blades it will be x3xxxx or x3xxx
Second number is the number of blades. First number is the code for the cover material, 3rd number is the primary blade type. Remaining numbers are the pattern number.

Hello afishhunter still trying to find how to put pictz lokked at knife again only tang stamp on blades are
case tested xx with the C stopping and the end of the E so thats 1920-1940
unfortunatly no tang numbers just wish in the creating thread there were just an ADD photo button
something with a URL dont know how that works anyway ill keep trying thnx afish

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. I use Imgur, but there are others. Once you have uploaded a picture, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Paste the picture address into the resulting popup. Then click the INSERT button.
