Case is really stepping up its game if the last two knives I bought are any indication - this Texas Jack dressed in Olive Green Bone that I got today, and previously a Chestnut Bone CV Peanut. F & F is excellent on both: blades centered in the liners or only a hair off, no blade wobble, springs flush open & closed, nice smooth blade pull, even blade grinds that shaved arm hair out of the box. I don't know what more you can ask of a production knife!
The pinched, threaded bolsters are a nice touch, and I love the modified pen blade - kind of a cross between a traditional pen blade and a wharncliffe. No, you won't mistake it for a true wharncliffe, but it's no ordinary pen blade either.
The jury (me) is still out as to whether I like this color or not. The first pic comes closest to capturing the true color - the last two were taken outside under rainy, overcast conditions and appear to be more amber than green - don't believe them. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how it ages - I'm guessing it will be just fine.
