Here's two videos I came across that I thought might be interesting to the younger traditional collectors who might not know how far reaching Case was in the cutlery industry and how their family tied into so many knife companies of the day, enjoy.

Wonderful videos. Thanks for sharing.
Makes me like my Case knives even more, great to see some of the history.

Thanks for sharing. I've read the book "The Case Cutlery Dynasty" by Brad Lockwood, a great book that touches on a lot of the information from the videos. Really an interesting family and company and its really amazing how many cutlery companies have come from the brand.

I like how it hints at just how cutthroat business was. And still is. Which is why I find it so amusing when folks on the forum get high and mighty about companies copying ideas, and so on, as if it's some new phenomenon in the knife manufacturing world. Nasty business practices are baked into the very model of business. There was never a time when it wasn't so!

Cool find!

Great vids. I'm a Case fan and really enjoy history. Glad you posted this

While I realize it is Labor Day, let's leave the discussion of the evils of business out of the discussion forum devoted to knives.
