Hello to all,

I am a new member, so please forgive me if I am plowing old ground. I just acquired a Case Tiny Trapper with stag handles and a red case shield. It is a single blade Warncliffe, 51154W SS. I had never seen this particular knife before. It was made in 2007. Very handsome little knife, but it is "tiny". Has Case ever produced the Peanut with a single blade such as a clip or Warncliffe? Thanks for any information.

Yes, Case has produced the Peanut as a single blade (6120 SS). I don't know of any Wharncliffe-bladed Peanuts.

The Tiny Trapper is just slightly smaller than a Peanut. Here's a comparison:

Welcome to the Porch! :)

I've seen Case Peanuts with a single clip point blade (generally with stag covers, and sometimes with a bail; I'd be willing to bet non-stag versions have also been made), but never with a single Wharncliffe.

A Wharncliffe Peanut is something that us CASE collectors have been waiting for, for a long time. Who knows if it'll ever come to fruition?
