I'm sure that at least a few people at Case, and the Ol' Dog hisself, know or at least have an idea of what the collaboration piece will be for 2013. At least, we know it will have 154CM blade/blades, and your choice of bone, wood, stag and MOP scales. I have 4 of the annuals; a dogleg jack, a Tribal Spear, a Coffin Jack and the Lanny's Clip. All have bone scales, both antique and chestnut, except for the Tribal Spear, which comes with ebony scales.
I don't have a list of all of the patterns that Tony offers in front of me, my Blade Guide to Knives has a condensed pattern listing of what Tony offers in their chapter on his work. I have been quite happy with the four I have, and have carried all except the dogleg jack. The Tribal Spear is my favorite, and I have been looking for one with bone scales, I like the pattern so much.
His saddlehorn trapper, Backpockets, Panama trapper, swaybacks and sowbellys are some nice examples of his regular collaborations with Case. What would you like to see in 2013? I'm guessing that this collaboration will be unveiled at the SHOT show. Do you think we'll see a fixed blade? Maybe a large multi blade?
