Hey guys! I am gonna do my first giveaway today! I have a Case Ol yeller Trapper I want to pass onto someone who will appreciate this knife....It is sitting in my knife drawer and just hasn't seen the love it deserves!

The rules:

1. Must have at least 50 posts in traditionals sub forum.
2. Let me see your best photo with a traditional in it.
3. Must be in US. Sorry guys not gonna ship internationally.
4. I really don't want to see the knife on the exchange. If you end up not wanting it pass it along!

I will pick the winner Sunday and ship on Monday. Good luck!

I love the spring because there are blue belly lizards, frogs, and humming birds in my backyard, and because my dog lives it because she gets to go for her walks in the afternoon instead of late evening like in the summer.
My only trapper was a rough rider which I gave to my dad because I just never carried it ( a bit too shiny for my liking ), but seeing the patina on that case makes me want one in my pocket or belt sheath. I don't yet own a cv case knife either so it'd be another first for me.

Looks like you're the only entry so far good luck! HAHAH

i love the spring because it is spring now, and I am alive and my family is well. Now is the time we have. I chose to love now.

Not an entry. I enjoy looking at everyone's trappers, but I've discovered that I don't really enjoy carrying full-size trappers myself.
But thanks for running this cool GAW, tmd!:cool::thumbup:
I'm completely puzzled by the lack of participation; that yellow Case trapper is iconic!
By the way, here's a Kutmaster stockman with BOTH back springs broken among the crocuses:

My guess on the lack of participation is that people are having a hard time finding springtime pictures... maybe?

Spring has never really been my favorite season, mostly because it is muddy. But one thing that I have to admit a fondness for in the springtime (particularly considering that I go to school and work at a university) is the, ahem, changing attire. ;)

I really have been very fortunate in GAWs lately, so I feel like someone else should benefit from porch generosity. But then again, I know that I like people to enter in my GAWs. So I leave it up to you if my number gets pulled. It is a nice knife, I wouldn't say no, but I have been quite fortunate lately.

Thanks for the entry! I do wish the participation was a bit better! Maybe I should eliminate the "spring" photo part of the rules?!

Not an entry, just admiring those beautiful knives. I'm working on building up a collection, and that style is just not one I have yet, at least not one that I can compete with. Rusty and crusty can't hold a candle to these examples. Bravo!

I love spring because everything is coming back to life and it's warming up after the gold grey winter.

I'm going to play just for fun, even though this is only my second post on this forum and I'm in Canada so I know I can't win. These are my favorite traditionals that I own. Only been learning about and collecting pocket knives for the last year or so.

I've been eyeing the Case Beer Trap in the same yellow delrin as yours, and I think I'm gonna pull the trigger soon. I haven't owned a Case yet, and I want to see how it stacks up against the GEC Beer Scout I have.

Thanks for the generous GAW offer, tmd_87. Here's a shot of my 34OT stockman ....

PS: I'm located in Europe, but maintain a U.S. mailing address. Hope that's not a deal-breaker.

I'd be in for a shot. I don't believe I've ever tried Case yellow derelin.

Great entries guys!!! Keep up the entries!
