Case Trapper question

I wasn't sure where to post this,so I will start off saying I am sorry to the Mods if they have to move it.
I was wondering,with these pics,if someone could give me an idea as to about what year this knife was made,and
a guess to a value(if any)

If I'm not mistaken that's an 1985. I may be wrong but from what I can see I think that's when it was made.
