I need some help with something. I am lookin to buying a Case trapper with the tru sharp steel blades. A friend of mine has one that has the amber bone handles, and he says he loves it. he told me he has cut through copper wire and all kinds of other things but the blades remain strong and sharp. He let me use it for a short bit the other day and I like the way it feels in my hand. I love the fact the knife fit my hand, so if i had to bear down a little bit. I currently carry an old schrade old timer that my father in law gave me about 2 years ago. It has the old carbon steel blades, and he swears by them and said never get stainless steel cause it will never hold an edge. Please let me know if you have this knife or have any opinions on the case tru sharp blades, cause I am looking for a knife that I can use everyday, carry easily for use at work cutting twine and boxes, but yet still use for food or peeling an apple and use for hunting. I also carry a craftsman folding utility knife, which i like for cutting boxes but it does me no good for the other things like food or hunting. I want one good knife that i can use for all these. Please help if you can.
Thank you
Jason
