I'm looking at case knives one of our vendors sites and it shows two case knives that appear to be the exact same model, scales, etc but one is "White Box"... What is this?

Thanks!

Never heard of such AZranchman - I would venture to guess it means a plain box - not the original box - for one of them.

Case changed the colors of the boxes at various times. There was a period where Case CV knives were in cream colored boxes (white boxes) versus the current light brown boxes. Older ones were in green boxes. So, that one is from the "white box" period. I have a couple that came in that style of box.

So the "white box" knife is a bit older than the other one, I am guessing. Probably from 2000-2006 or so.
