If you look at the description, it is "jigged white delrin".

You can buy delrin but discussing where to buy stuff isn't allowed on the forum. You can check the materials providers in the Exchange or post a topic in the WTB section of the Exchange. Or do a Google search for "white delrin"

They claim that it "sparkles", do they mean it actually has glitter or whatever in it or are they just exaggerating how nice and pure white it is?

Also I meant where to buy in just general terms like hardware store, knifemaking supplier, hobby store, etc.

You would probably find it most likely at a knife supply store, there are several good ones. Send me a PM if you want more infomation:)

In the photos it just looks white but I haven't seen them. The shield looks glittery but again I've only seen photos. It's not my cup of tea but there are acrylic materials with glitter in them.

Here's a homegrown pic. I've never noticed anything sparkly about the delrin. I think it has something to do with the shield as Jake mentioned.

Alright good to know. I have seen it in person once but it was in a case in a dimly lit store. I knew I liked it at first sight but wasn't sure if it sparkled in the sunlight or anything.

I was hoping for something that sort of had a bit of shine to it like quartz but not quite glitter.

I have a stockman in that material. It's pretty durable and an appropriate handle material, but nothing outstanding or special. The "jigging" is made by hot stamping the material surface rather than by the normal method of using a rotating tool to engrave the material. It's a clean serviceable handle material, but stag and bone don't have to worry about being put out of a job.

I possess a baby butterbean and a trapper imho it's just a gimmick to use shields with uncertain paint so they claim it "sparkling" (I don't see where it sparkles on the BBB:confused:). The jigged delrin is not as nice to handle as smooth delrin or of course jigged bone. But they do look niceand overall quality very good.

Yes, the "Sparxx" are solely in the shield. The handles are just solid white molded Delrin. They have previously been offered in a gray molded-jigged Delrin, and are currently made in white with red sparkly shield, white with pink shield, and orange with a silver shield.

Hey boy&hisdogs,
Just a suggestion based on my own tastes, but if you like the sparxx look, but prefer a richer looking handle, look for jigged natural bone with red shield. This is my very favorite Case offering, however you'll probably only find it on secondary market.
