I have a Case XX Jigged Buffalo Horn Slipjoint collection. Attached is the list of what I think exists. If you have any more to add to the list or if you see an error, please let me know. Besides the two that I know I am missing, I think there are some special editions/limited editions that I don't have on the list. Thanks.

I realize you stated specifically "slipjoint collection" but I know Case made some of their fixed blades with buffalo horn as well. Those might be fun to chase?

Good luck in your quest!

Yes, I have a few of the fixed blades too. But I haven't researched them and chased them down as aggressively as I have with the slipjoints. I also haven't gone into the smoothbone clasp knives P172? either. Really, I like almost anything in stag or buffalo horn.

I have a mini trapper with the S35VN blades. It's a real nice knife. I wanted a Back Pocket, but I thought about it too long and they sold out.
I've got the jigged buffalo horn Backpocket and Sodbuster Jr. in S35VN and they are great knives. Still the only Backpocket I've come across at a value that has been worth it to me. I'm not an overeager fan of stainless blades on traditional knives, but the excellent finish that Case put on these S35VN models certainly eases the divide.

Yeah I prefer Case's carbon steel to the stainless. But the combination of the rough jigged buffalo horn and stone washed S35VN or whatever that finish is was too tempting. After I got the little trapper, I liked it enough to want the big Back Pocket. Just waited too long to order one.

Someone just told me that there were 3 versions of the 65092 sodbuster with respect to the shield.
