i have a knife made in '91 tha's a case xxx. Does anyone know how many were made of this knife?

The Case XXX's that were made in the early 90's were part of the Case Classic Series.
They were produced in 3 patterns, but there may be other prototypes of patterns around.

As far as the production
1100 were Green Bone Saddlehorn Trappers 62100 pattern) Most with an American Blade Collector etch.
(Bruce Voyles may know a little more about these)

Around 500 were made in the 488 pattern (large 4 blade congress)
450 of those were in green bone oval shield
an unknown number were in some other handle color or material.
and 12 to 15 were made in green bone with a bomb shield.


500 were made in a large Gun Boat pattern 6394 in green bone.
