Just curious if you makers have a "Go To" design, thats quick, looks good, and most importantly funds the more elaborate projects?

I've got a couple designs that I can build pretty quick, and can keep the price fairly low on. Knives without a guard take a fair amount less time. I have a basic "line" I guess you'd say of interrelated knives a little higher in cost, still pretty economical but with things like a guard/bolsters, hamon, etc. Then, every once in a while if I don't have any custom orders left to fill, I just build whatever the heck I can come up with, and don't worry right away about the final price. It depends on how badly I'm hurting for cash...

mine are neckers, and parrers tho they take abit less time they save me a bit on parts cost the thing that kills me is i need to make 10 at a time ot make it worth my while

Thanks guys for the response, those were exactly what I was thinking, maybe 10 or so 'Cash Flow' knives to 1 Major build...thanks for the input.
