Cast iron is the best steel

After lots of testing and studying I’ve come to the conclusion that cast iron is actually the best steel for knives, using a proprietary process to unlock the extremely high 2-4% carbon and special forging techniques I was able to strengthen the material by packing the grains closer together giving the material a toughness rating well above any other steels but at an astounding 91hrc. It can be cold worked after forging to get down to the final shape and edge geometry and exhibits no distortion in heat treating. During the heat treating process a fine vanadium/diamond powder is atomized on the surface and absorbed by the extremely carbon rich material giving it phenomenal edge retention far surpassing any know steels, current testing shows the material after heat treating literally does not dull. After months of cutting sand paper with the knife it is still sharper than any professional straight razors and the toughness is so extreme from the proprietary forging process that I can chop through steel beams. I think I may have created the next best thing to a lightsaber without having to tackle to problem of an energy source. This is going to be the future of knives, atleast for today. If you made it this far I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great April Fool’s day, make sure to stock up on cast iron!

I personally like fabric softener.
I put that in my little heat treating envelopes, as I find that they not only burn up all that oxygen in there, but they also cure all my blades of static cling! I used to be able to rub a knife on my hair and then stick it to the fridge, but with these fabric softener sheets my blades are cured once and for all from any electrostatic charge.

April fools jokes aside I put baby powder in my stainless foil pouches, pretty much always get a perfectly clean surface and no issues with foil puffing or sticking.

<shrug> I dunno, it might be from living way out in the desert like we do...
I mean at least I didn't ask for details on the process!! Lol!
