I saw somewhere on the web someone using a big caster wheel as a contact wheel. Has anyone on here tryed it before? I will probley try it and if it doesnt work I will just toss it out since there only like 8 bucks If the wheels arent true I can probly fix that so that doesnt really matter

If the wheel had pretty decent bearings and a grease zert, I would think it would be worth it. Or have it on a bearing shaft, as in a pillow block, ect. I have always thought it would work fine. My 2 cents worth.

Check out this Bad Boy!. These pics were sent to me for my home-made machinery gallery on my web site. It is a great looking machine. The gentleman that built it....replaced the bearings in the caster wheels.
Bryce, I don't see how you could go wrong for $8. Have fun with it.
