Caswell Cold OX Coating

Has anybody tried Casell's SD "Cold-OX" solution on a knife blade? If so, what did you htink about it?
 
I've used another 'cold black oxide' solution. Its OK, but far inferior to the real thing.
 
Scott Tanguay made some really nice knives using the caswell black oxide. i know he gave it high praises. However, i have not seen him in some time on the forums. Do a search for "caswell" on here and you might find some of his posts. http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/black.htm
