Hi folks,
I've been anxiously waiting for a couple of years for Joe Caswell to finalize vendors and production on his EDX folder. He debuted it in 2010 and it has been a lonnnng path for him to deliver.
Here's the original thread with the data and plenty of technical info: Caswell EDX
Joe has responded to my original 'on the list' query every time I've sent a note, and has been communicative in every regard.
I got a note a month ago: "I'm finishing up the first batch. #14: It's yours if you still want it." Yes, I do.
I don't do this often, but every so often I actually turn on a video camera. (This one from my Samsung cell phone on a tripod!)
I kept it close to my one-minute attention span limit.

Joe's package included a clear pamphlet describing his VERY unique pivot system, and a nice sock-type pouch.
The finish on the components is especially smooth and well done. It's got a walnut (?) tumbled frame and similar blade finish. Dead solid action upon opening and closing. It's powerful upon close and requires you to get your fingers out of the way smartly, IF you do this one-handed.
I'm real pleased with the communication, the build, the design, and the action. ALL of that is important.
Thank you!
Coop
