That video helps to show exactly what its all about. Neat way the blade locks and works in conjunction with the clip. The folder is bigger than I expected.
Not a bad thing really I just pictured it as smaller for some reason. Love the blade!

Very interesting. I really like the lock and clip. But the whole knife just seems really big for a pocket EDC. Can it be made smaller, or is the room needed for the mechanism?

Thanks again for the video embed tip!!:)

It looks big, and has a lot of 'presence', but really wears easily. I've been carrying this one around, and it just disappears in the pocket. Scared myself more than once thinking for that split moment I must have lost it, but I check and there it is! That's something you'd have to check out for yourself, though.

To answer your question, it could be made any size, really. No unique size limitations due to the lock/clip design.

Joe, That's pretty slick! I remember when you had you first clip at the Blade Show and no one knew how to work it. Glad to hear it won the award at G2!

Very neat idea. Joe, I have to hand it to you. You have come up with a string of ideas that are not only innovative, but that contribute to the advancement of the world of folding knives. Keep it up, and I wish you the very best success.

I'm impressed. I like gadgets and cool mechanisms when they work well, and that looks well done.

Is this patented? Are you licensing this?

You making these on that CNC Bridgeport?

Thanks Silver_Pilate! That's some high praise. I really appreciate the kind words!

Nathan,
There are two patents pending. One for the this new iteration of the clip/lock and one for the pivot.

The CK-1s were done on the Bridgeport. The EDX on an oldish Fadal.

Thanks again for all the kind comments!

Very impressed with your design Joe. Nice job!

BTW, drove past Newbury Park on my way to Santa Cruz today. Passing by again on Monday on way back to SD. Would love to see your shop one of these days...
