Catalog 2003 from collectors-of-camillus.us

It could be.
Unlike Schrade, Camillus did not date much of their literature.
Is there any clue you found that gives it a 2002 date?
Thanks
Larry

In 2002, ended production: American Wildlife Two Blade Series, Celluloid Abalone Series, Cartridge #C3 and #C6, Firefighter #FF2, CUDA Quik-Action Series, Western Texas Ranger Series, BK&T BK4 and BK5.

In late 2002 - early 2003, started production: Firefighter #FF3, CUDA "ROBO" Series (AFTERMATH and DOMINATOR), "Maxx" Series (MAXX 5.5 and STILETTO), BK&T BK6, BK7, BK9 and BK10.

I think that this list is not complete.

Maybe someone buy and scan it?

I have it just havent had time to publish Toms last shipment.
Let me know if you want a copy.

It was common practice for Camillus to print a new catalog and use it for several years. A new price list was usually prepared in January of every year.
We would mail a new price list along with current price stickers to registered Camillus dealers in the beginning of the year.

I guess that is why the catalogs on Larry's site have separate price sheets and no date on the catalog. Thanks for the information, Tom.

Given the pricing is a little higher than the #64 (1954) and #85 (1955) I would think #35 falls a year, maybe 2 years after.

What a great thread this has turned out to be. I like Camillus almost as much as I do old original Schrade knives as long as they are both U.S.A. made originals.
My eyes were first opened to what a great knife they made after doing a bit of research here on the forum. Thanks guys. :)

I combined the information from the catalogs and prices of Camillus in xls-spreadsheet.

Camillus_cats.xls

Table is divided into two parts (1946-1990 and 1988-2006)
Legend:
Green - true dating
Yellow - wrong dating
Blue - new
x - discontinued
* - change or different model

I think it will be interesting :)
Please correct me if I made a mistake somewhere.

Wow, you did a lot of work on those spreadsheets. A lot of info in a compact area. Needs to be put on Irv's site.
