Just went catalog crazy! Ordered at least 30 of them just to browse through them. Am I the only one who does this for knives?

I prefer a catalog over the interweb as well. It seems that they are getting harder to get to me. Many say "we are on the web."

Yeah, I threw in some Cabela's ones because I like reading them when I'm bored and that is usually when I don't have access to the internet.

what companies have catalogs that they actually send to you??

I only found 4 or 5.

I know Cold Steel, Special Projects, Kershaw, and Kabar.

Spyderco, Benchmade (and all Benchmade companies), CRKT, and a few others such as like Smokey Mountain Knife Works which are just fun to look at.

AG Russell has the best knife photos of any catalog ever, hands-down.
SMKW has a printed catalog. Thousands of knives, most of which are low-end imports.
For Case knives, you can't beat Shepherd Hills Cutlery's catalog.

I don't anymore because of the internet. But that makes me nostalgic as hell for my teens (most of the 90's)when I was swimming in catalogs. I'd order every free catalog offered in the back of knife magazines. I still hunt down out-of-production knives because I ogled them too much in those catalogs without buying them & have to have them now that I have the money. Those Cutlery Shoppe supplementary deals worked well on me. I was mowing lawns & such for cash & converting it to a money order at the corner store to send off to these companies. I feel old.

I love catalogues myself. I think because so many idiots don't read anything that's not on the internet , some companies aren't printing them anymore.
My favourite knife catalogue by far is Cold Steel's. It'll be a sad day if they stop issuing it.

The reason companies don't print and send out catalogs, anymore is because of the cost of printing them and mailing. It's just way cheaper to only have a website.
