Catalogue of CRK unique knives?

Hello all,

So for my first post, I will openly admit I'm becoming quite addicted to CRKs, specifically the small Sebenza; though I quite like the Mnandi.

I've ordered my first, waiting for it to arrive this week. A small Sebenza seagrass. My wife is not really happy, but they are a lot cheaper than my watches, so she is happy it has to be one or the other!

Though I have an incoming, I'm already looking forward to finding one to be my EDC. So what I am wondering is, is there any place I can go and see a historical record of "Lisa's Picks" or a page somewhere that has just a bunch of collectors knives that I can get a better idea of what CRK has turned out over the years for unique graphics?

I'm already considering selling my Damascus Blade Boker with Ebony handle to fund a Seb or a Mnandi with an inlay and I've never even used it... Man this is going to be bad....

Thanks all!

Justin

Check out the Picks Only sticky thread at the top of this page.

Good luck!

the picture thread used to have a lot of old lisas picks, but the poster no longer has them. I tried finding as manybimages as I could, but its pretty hard.

Some on line knife sites have great archives. That is a good way to see lots of sebenzas.

The Sebenza photo stickie should keep you busy for awhile, and can give you an idea of what was made. Getting some of them is a whole different matter.

Thanks all, I looked through the 64 pages, TONS of them are dead links now. I was hoping someone hosted them somewhere that was a little more permanent. I'm surprised CRK didn't do it themselves.

Here's the way it has worked for me, with complete success and total satisfaction.
I search out the various dealer's archives and find one of Lisa's Unique Graphic Designs that I especially like. I print out a color copy of that knife and send it in to Chris Reeve Knives, along with a letter and a completed order form, asking for that design. Pretty soon I hear those three little wonderful words, "This is Heather", telling me my special knife is being shipped. Again, very soon, I see those other three special words, "Out For Delivery".
Can life get any better than that? Or easier? :)

Justin,
Check your visitor messages. You have two recommended site suggestions.

Hi Justin, welcome to BF.
To me it seems you are learning very fast.

I like the idea with the pics of special Chris Reeve folders. I too think they are well worth to be saved.
Hopefully this will become a reality someday (also a virtual). I'd give permission to use my CRK pics for an archive.

PS: Have you considered a large Sebenza yet? Imagine what you could do with it.... :)

My Seagrass arrived today, and I am SO much more addicted now. This thing is amazing.

The small is totally legal here in BC Canada, without really much change of being interpreted as a weapon. From my understanding the large is pushing it. I'm more afraid of having it being taken way is all. I can see myself having a large for display however!
